VTEC problem *SEaRCheD*
Dynoed my 92 f22b1 lude and heard clicking/tapping sound from head. proceeded to take VC off and notcied that one of the "rocker arm lockers" that engage during the crossover was bent. IF I had a picture I would be better to explain what part it was. Is this a serious problem as in my head is going to lock up eventually or that cyclinder is going to run different from the other 3. Any suggestings would be great.
Side note what would happen if all the tabs were broken and the ECU applied the a/f setting without the higher lobe on the cam running??

I would think you would run rich. Don't know about your other question though...

Well if you don't want to take any chances of messing you head up you could always temporarily disable Vtec by unplugging the pressure switch. This will prevent the engine from engaging Vtec and will limit the RPMs.
