Do I need to change brake booster after rear disc brake convertion?
I just did a rear disc brake convertion on my 95 civic.Do I need to change my master and brake booster?IT seems to brake ok.I dont know. What dose every on think.
no you dont need to. What you should change is the proportioning valve that way under heavy braking in the rain the backs dont lock up, which can send you into a spin.
it happen to me once... very scary!!!

Nope, I've never found a need to change the booster when doing brake conversions with OEM parts, unless it's necessary to use a particular master cylinder with a different bolt pattern.
The master cylinder does not need to be upsized for a rear drum-to-disc conversion; it's only necessary when you're swapping on front calipers with larger pistons.
As mentioned, the proportioning valve should be swapped with one from a car with a stock brake system that closest matches your hybrid brake combination to maintain OE proportioning.
