check fuses check for correct wwiring like said above. check the two wires that run into the fuse block under the hood. one goes to the starter and one goes to the battery i think, make sure you dont have them backwards, although im not sure if it matters or not

Ok so i forgot the grounds....i put a ground from the clutch cable bracket to the chassis then one from the valve cover on driver side to the radiator support. I thought there was 3 grounds on B series motors but idk where the third one goes....With just 2 grounds...same thing. no crank.....

update* that 1 loud click noise is the starter.

i turned engine by hand...moves freely.

gonna remove starter and bench test it tonight....

any more thoughts?

no sir, they stay bright. Gonna try a new battery cuz i swear my grounds are all good...the battery is free under warrenty anyways so ima give it a shot. if not im gonna pull the starter back out and sand down the mounting spot on the bell housing for a better ground contact maybe? and replace all my grounds and sand all the areas to ensure perfect contact. ill update tomarrow!

Ok so my interesting no crank turned out to be a defective battery.... F**K pepboys battery testers it said mine was good lol. but yah new battery and it cranks....no ecu plugged in because im trying to prime my oil pump.

now new problem...i cranked for about 10 second intervals about 4 times and saw no oil pressure....ive heard 30 seconds of cranking to prime the pump. do i have to crank continuously? because it seems like the battery will die before then. i didnt even get any oil flowing through my pressure guage line.

do you have a mechanical gauge or an electric? if you have a mechanical one the oil has to flow through the long line into the car so it might take a few seconds to see anything. and also make sure the battery completely charged or else it will crank too slow and the light or your oil pressure gauge wont read and the light will stay on
