When starting my car i engage the clutch (like your supposed to) but in order for the engine to fire i have to release the clutch....and while it is sitting at idle if i go to engage the clutch the car dies????

Any advice or knowledge of this problem would be very helpful.Thanks in advance!

 

sounds like problem with clutch interlock switch

 

Sounds like somone hooked up a kill switch to it.
There probably another switch somwhere to reverse the kill mechinism on the pedal.

 

i wired the car for clutch cut for zdyne...maybe i wired that in wrong ill check that and get back with an update!
