Default Engine Bay Heat Problems!!!

First, let me say that you guys have been of great help to me and my car. I couldn't have done it without you, so thanks! But I have another problem... ambient temp. Since Drag gave me the worst possible design for a downpipe (it hits a bar that bolts to the trans on the bottom so the flange doesn't line up correctly with the compressor) I have an exhaust system that blows hot exhaust into my engine bay and out of the bottom of my car. Because of this, I can only drive my car for a few minutes at a time otherwise I'm afraid that it will mess up my newly painted hood. Well I had to drive to a muffler shop which is about 20 minutes away from my house so my engine bay became extremly hot. Because of this, the underside of my hood started turning black. When I got it home after getting an estimate (200 bucks for a stupid flange and a rebend) the hood was very dirty and black. So I started wiping it with windex and paper towel. Most of it came off but there is an area about 1 foot by 1 foot that is still very black! Anyway, on to the question... do all turbo'd civic's run hot enough to do this or will it be fixed when I get the downpipe all bolted up?
