KEEP IN MIND MOST THIS STUFF ASIDE FROM THE TRANNY IS FREE.
my friend has a shop with like a million old swap parts and were building up my other friends d15b7 with old parts lying around. he has no funds so were doing all this for him for free. what i have so far is....
1. d16a6 cam (what cam gear and how do i identify the a6 cam)
2. z6 tranny
3. y8 intake mani (B20Z2 tb?)
4. what ecu is best?
we have all these parts lying around. any stock pistons that fit this block that will bump his compression? anything else we should look into. he is saving for a b series that he plans to build so we arent realy spending any money on this setup. were just trying to give his old beater a little life before it gets pulled aside and forgoten.

please help. this might help alot of guys out there that are stuck with the d15b7 for lack of cash. not everyone that owns a honda can afford swaps and turbo.
Out of what you have, the b7 pistons will already make the comp higher than if you used z6 ones. I dont konw what a a6 cam will do but i know if you could find a z6 head then it would see the most gain there i think, and with the z6 trans will be that much better.

if you mean pics of the d16a6 cam, i dont have any. he has like 7 cams in a box and he swares one is the d16a6 cam. i looked all over the net but i cant find a pic of a stock a6 cam compared to b7 and so on. PRETTY MUCH WERE TRYING TO MAKE CHICKEN SOUP OUT OF CHICK ****.

be careful with the B7. i just pulled mine out due to throwen rod.. put a hole in the side of the block.. but i had a Z6 head. b7 cam gear on it. I/H/E and z6 tranny she was a fun lil toy.. till that damn water puddle hydrolocked the motor and snapped a rod. PICS R A MUST! there are some out here who just like random builds.. and i agree 100% i got all my parts from blowen motors that were going to be scrapped.
