Default Can you put gsr i/m on ls?

So i am planing on buying an edelbrock turbo kit but it only comes for the gsr and i have a ls motor. i know i'll have to get it tuned because the piggyback is for the gsr but i want to know would the intake manifold for the gsr would fit on my motor?
Also any body know if anything else would have to be changed or modified to make it work?

First of all -- No, you can't. The bolt pattern is different.

Second of all -- Why would you want the GSR manifold? All the hassle with the odd throttle body placement and the dual butterflies?

not to mention the fact that it would most likely be cheaper to just remake or modify the cold-side charge pipe. that should be the only component of the kit that won't fit.

I just would rather not spend another $300 on a ls i/m
so if i put on an ls manifold would the piping need to be modified?

see my comment above.

yes, it would most likely need to be modified as the GSR throttlebody placement differs from the LS.

if you're asking how to make the charge pipe longer, you'd just cut it, add material, and reweld it. no big deal at all.

it's most likely just aluminum -- anyone with a TIG welder can take care of it for you.
