Hey just wondering if anyone has done this swap. I have EP3 seats the front are mounted but have absolutely no idea as to whether the back can be mounted by the looks of it they cannot but wanted to see if it is poosible. I searched before hand and looked thru the FAQs and googled it, zero results. Any help would be appreciated. I was told to use the factory cushions with the EP3 covers, is that correct? Thanks

Its not a direct swap or something that can be done without modification. If your mom is a seamstress you may be in luck though. Otherwise check out an interior place in your town and get a quote to have it done.

 

I have EP3 front seats in my EG hatchback and was looking at swapping in the EP3's in the rear as well. I took the bottom out of my stock seats, looked at them, looked at the EP3's and put the stock ones back in.

It CAN be done, but the main issue is that the EP3's are are 60/40 split while the stock seats are a 50/50 split. Plus, I don't think it would look right because the EP3's are a good bit taller than the stockers.

 

I was just thinking about what was required when I put RSX seats into my Civic. You are right though, it can be done.

 

It can be done, but it's just a question of it would look right...at least that's how I see it. Compare the EP3 backs to your stock ones and see if there's much difference.
