Default jdm 96 type r swap in 95 civic si

is this a direct swap just like any other b series? the ad talking about the "RHD harness (maybe cut)" has me worried.

It's pretty straight forward, I did my 95 (obd1) into my 93 Civic Si. Only problem you might run into is with the distributor plugs, you can get away with using obd1 p30/p72 (b16/b18c) distributors for a plug and play setup.

I used my obd1 Si engine harness and fit it to the engine. just about everything reached, I just opened up the wire loom + retaped / reloomed where needed. Being you have vtec prewired, you'll only need to run knock sensor wires (or, you can have your car tuned on your P28 ecu, but chipped).

As far as the dizzy goes, the guts are identical AFAIK. Used my old d-series coil + ignitor in my b18c distributor when that crapped out, then transfered everything to a fresh P30(b16) housing when the bearing started to let some oil in (original had about 170k on it).

Yes, I had a B18C1 before, but the same logic applies here. If you want plug and play, get a tuned chip for your p28 (real tune, not ebay). obd1 distributor. and use your engine harness, with the b-series mounts and linkage (DC2-4 linkage). And you're good. Hope thats helpfull.

PS. The only thing tha cut RHD harness is good for on a LHD car is spare plugs/connectors anyways.
