Help !!!!
Hello I just got a B16 swap . The donor car was a 1990 Acura integra. I believe the car is 0bdo. I am putting this in a 95 civic ex which is obd1. Can I convert to the obd1? I am using a p28 ecu. Would it be easier to buy a wiring harness for a b16 that is already obd1 or should I cut and splice ? If I went with the harness would I have to change all the sensors? Oh yea the owner of the acura just put the B16 in the car a year ago.
Thanks alot.
Thanks alot.

Re: Help !!!! (95civicB16)
use your engine harness from the 95 civic, being that its an EX it already has the wires run for vtec you will just need to run a knock sensor wire to the ECU....hopefully the owner converted the integra to obd1 or you will need injectors and a distributor for the obd1. also make sure you get a new T-bracket which can be found on ebay or http://www.inlinefour.com because it is way different in the 90-93 integras than it is in the 94-01 integras and also you will need a new driver side motor mount bracket, you should be able to reuse your driver side engine mount itself because your car was a 95 EX. check the ECU thread at the top of the forum for the ecu pin location for the knock sensor wire and make sure you use shielded wire for it.

Re: Help !!!! (1jdmferio)
What is a t bracket? I am getting all new mounts since it is a cable tranny and my 95 is hydro. The kit comes with the conversion. How can you tell if the injectors or distributor are obd1 or not? The original motor was a d16 and I am putting a b16 is there no difference between the two harness?
Thanks alot...

Re: Help !!!! (95civicB16)
the t-bracket is for the back of the tranny and connects to the rear motor mount
it won't let me put a picture of it but here is the link http://www.inlinefour.com/oemtbracmoun.html
you also will need 94-01 integra shift linkage
look at the injectors side by side from the b16 and your civic (just unplug one) you should be able to tell the difference if they arent OBD1
if you are converting to a cable clutch (not recommended) then you will need the mounts you plan on ordering, however you will still need the driver side motor mount bracket...
