ls-t or ls-vt
so just asking...ls vtec turbo?or strait ls turbo?
so it will cost more to get that ls-v running with all the prep...
but you know more cfm's with the vtec head means more power...
but...in the ls turbo i was wandering can you use b20 crank?
the longer stokes make more torque...but can it actaullu work with the forged ls internals?
please gimme your input....and know im not asking you to build my stuff....just trying to find a start up layout?like what has been good in the past..or will the ls head work just fine if new valve job a pnp?

Wel i no a lot of people go with ls tubos only because there is less moving parts in the motor and less chances something will go wrong but i think an ls-vtec turbo is sick!!! i would build a low compression ls-vtec and turbo that biotch!!
yea i was thinking about that myself but ive made up my mind
I just finished me ls swap yesterday.
Already bought a vtec head. So over the next month im going to get a short geared tranny and the rest of the conversion to go with my mildly built gsr head. then over time just building an Ls bottom end and slap a turbo on it and call the project finsh.
Just take steps. Its always fun to see hoew much power you get out of each thing

nah i'd leave it with that LS motor..
what year motor is it?
i had a 92 LS with I/H/E n it was quick
especially before i sold it and had a
AEM fuel rail on it w/ adjustable fuel pressure regulator
I'd stay all motor man.. But thats just me!

Why bother spending your money to build an LS/V if you're just going to turbo it? VTEC is great and all, but seriously, forced induction can more than make up for the enhancements it brings to NA motors. If you're going to build the block, go ahead and build it, but you don't have to have VTEC to go fast. Plus, it's optimal on a turbo motor to raise the VTEC crossover so that should be evidence enough that you don't need it just to say you have it.

IIRC, B20B/Z and B18A/B crank + rods are identical. Only main difference is the 84mm sleeves in the 2.0l vs the 81mm sleeves in the other b-series.
