Default Moving the Actuator on a TD05-18g

Ok last weekend I installed my new to me TD05-18g on my CRX but the actuator was hitting the block so what I did was put some spacers in to move away from the turbo and thus it cleared the block. Now my problem is that for some reason it is either not working or it became set REALLY high. When I tested for boost I was able to build over 15psi..but I only want 6psi!!!!! So if some can help me with the proper procedure on adjusting an interal wastegate that would be great thanks!

Is this turbo came from greddy or straight from mitsu? The Greddy should already be set to 7-8 psi.

i really wonder for my greddy turbo
the actuator can be adjust, i am not sure if it will increase the boost without a boost controller

How did you install the spacers? If you installed them so that there is more pressure on the actuator arm, of course it's going to boost higher than the wastegate is set for.

I readjusted the arm after installing the spacers but it seems that I did it wrong cuz it boosts way too much.....

If it has a threaded actuator arm, legnthening it should lower the boost level.

Does the actuator arm have alot of pull on it or is there not that much tension, try slacking it out a bit by lengthening it like DSF said and check and see the max boost.
