Default bent Avid traction bars?

Has anyone bent their Avid traction bars? Went to the track friday and made one run. The front crossbar bent, and not a little either. I'm very bummed.

Just give me a call on our toll free 1-866-507-2843 and will have it replaced with a new bar for you. I'd like to get that old bar back from you to analyze it. No, not really. Since the little bastard is still sitting on jack stands and i'm missing the one racing event i wanted to run at. I dont have much nice to say about their customer support at all.

wow, youre kind of a jerk. he was totally nice to you, and youre blowing it off like its nothing. you can remove them and run the event still. thats good customer service. you may be dissatisfied with the product, but customer service is on point.

you must realize that in racing especially stuff breaks

yes it does, lol obviously. couldve been due to underdesign or possibly install error if youve never had a failure like that before

You dont know what you're talking about. I took it off and mailed it to them. They said they would send a new one out right away. 2 weeks later i asked if it was on the way. they said it would ship by the end of the week. Again 2 weeks later they said i have it the next week. That was several weeks ago. And no, i cant run my car without the bars. If you think that's good customer service you are a dumbass. You can take your attitude and **** the [freak] off!!!

I just wanted to note i never heard another word from Avid Racing. No replacement bar, no refund, not even a phone call, pm, or email. Maybe they have different rules as to what is good business in canada? It was an expensive mistake on my part that's for sure.

So you just mailed them the bent part, expecting a replacement or refund, and never heard anything for well over a year. And you just let it go? No action taken or anything?

Dont know what to do about it, but i'm open to suggestions. If they were here in the USA i would have some options, but them being based in Canada complicates things.
