Default how much will i gain with sway bars?

i have a 95 civic with full tein suspension dropped about an inch or so, all suspension bushings have been replaced with polyurethane ones, front upper strut bar and a rear lower strut bar. also front and rear gsr brakes. my question is how much would i gain if installed front and rear sway bars? will it be worth the money/time? thanks

10 to 15 hp... rephrase your question....almost always upgrading from stock will give you benefit's...depends on which product you go for(price wise)

IMO sway bars are one of the best mods you can do.

i run a comptech rear 22m sway wiht brace and car is amazing around corners.

oh yes...def feel the difference.

during slow speeds not so much, but higher speeds the car is flat and it feels like you can just keep pushing it and it wont break loose.

imo, save up your money, for a set of dampers(shocks) and springs.

sway bars are used to fine tune the suspension...

springs will give you a bigger difference, then good dampers..

you dont need a front sway bar yet. get the rear bars first.

ASR comes in a kit for around 350 i believe. you could go smaller and go for a mf facotry one for 190 shipped.

I just picked up a Progress 22mm rear sway for my teg. Best bang for the buck mod EVER.

$160 and I'm almost driving a new car...seriously. It's a whole new monster when you whip it around the corners.

then get an asr brace, and a 22mm rear bar, see how it is.. too stiff, go smaller, too tail happy, add a front sway...

what exactly do you not like about your current setup?

too much understeer, body roll??
if its understeer, then a stiffer rear...
body roll can be sorta fixed with a rear bar, but it may oversteer...

it really depends on what you want to improve

</TD></TR></TABLE>well right now i want to get rid of some body roll. the strut bars helped alittle bit but i want it better. i just ordered some rims and tires, so that should help. i'm putting some 15" drag rims and some falken 615's.

I have had my hatch set up with a 22 bar in the rear with nothing in the front... I would not recomment it.. Front will dive while the back is rigid. It was very tail happy when i had bad tires, have not pushed it on azenis. Its been mostly a drag car w/ the bar removed but i would like to add an dc2 front bar!

Sway bars ftw, get them before strut/bracing bars cuz sway bars actually WORK, but you cant see them as well as that shinny anodized aluminum strut bar

i have a kit for sale. check your PM. you can run something like the ASR brace but i think it will require new LCAs.
