Pace Setter headers any good??
I know everyone reccomened DC headers, but Pacesetters are more affordable. Is this going to be another case of "you get what you pay for"? Also, what's the major difference in ceramic coated and opposed stainless?
headers do very. pacesetter is crap in my opinion. spend the extra money for somethign else.
ceramic is painted(in a way) i think and stainless steal is not and more durable.

DC Race header is $359.99 at http://www.allversionperformance.com. This is the wrong hobby for "more affordable."

This isn't the main benefit. The main benefits of ceramic coating are corrosion resistance and the other benefit of ceramic coating is that it helps with the exhaust gas scavenging effect. Increasing the exhaust gas velocity helps improve power.

Captain obvious over here. There are plenty of products out there with the same benefit, that are more cost efficient. That was my question, plain and simple. Thanks for your $0.02 anyway

Yeah but at what cost? When compared to it's competitors Pace Setter doesn't exactly stack up in the quality and craftsmanship department. You are pretty naive to come onto a public forum like Honda-Tech and not expect people to post their opinion and give feed back. Consider yourself warned, It's your money, do what you want, Captain Cool Guy.

Will you get what you pay for. Of course. Sometimes cheaper doesn't always mean that it's more beneficial. And when you're talking about modifications to cars.....that's NEVER the way to go.
Same principle applies to gasoline. You wouldn't go to a local mom-and-pop cheap convenient store in a dark corner of a side street that sells gas 8 cents cheaper and probably has poor additives and sometimes even water mixed in just to save a little money would you?

Thanks fellas, that's all I was looking for. The point I was trying to make, is there are things in this world, that are less expensive but have the same outcomes. That was the purpose of my starting this thread. If I knew the differences between the brands, I wouldn't have asked anyone. I know little about headers, therefor I asked a question. People are so fast to throw words around it's amazing. Thanks 100 & Rico.
