So ive tried replacing the cap +dizzy and plugs and nothing really. The prolem I have is that it idles around 3000 - 3500. When I kick the accelerator and rev high it drops to about 2700 - 2800 also im not sure what this vaccum line is for.



It's the tube on the far far right. When its plugged with a screw it idles extremely high when I take the screw out it idles at about 2200-2400 but also 'misses' really bad. What else can I check to help me with the idle problem oh and I also tried retarding it and advancing but nothing

 

Isnt that idle kind of high?

 

1) Search for the H22 Vacuum Diagram (search on HT/google)
2) Do the FITV/IACV/etc cleaning deal (thread on HT)
3) Play with idle adjustment ****

 

i have a h22 in my 94 accord and it idled high around 3500 then it would do that stupid honda surge i had to replace the valve under the throttle body i used the valve out of the stock 94 accord engine and that fixed my problem
