pulleys
Alternator pulleys are indeed pointless, as I've noticed from doing some research. If a Prelude alternator pulley costs between $20 and $50, it would be logical to conclude that they are useless. Might I suggest purchasing a $180 crankshaft pulley. Great for low-end power/acceleration.

Then again, if you really want them, these would be the best choice

I don't wanna rain on anybodies parade but There's a myth floating around that light weight crank pullies damage main bearings. (for you noobs reading this that don't know about main bearings, know this: If they go bad, a bottom end re-build or engine replacement is the fix. read $$$$ especially if you don't have the skills, equipment, or ***** to do it yourself.)
This article is the reason why I decided not to run any brand of crank pulley.

And for those of you not familliar with Larry Endyn, he is one of the best at what he does in the industry, hands down.

If my power steering pulley is making noise like the bearing's bad, cant i just change the pump right now and avoid a bottom-end rebuild/new engine?
edit: just looked at the article, are you talking about the underdrive pulley? not the power steering/alternator ones.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Crank pulley dude, the other pulleys have nothing to do with bearings
I have had an Unorthodox crank pulley for 5 years so far with no problems.

Yeah its the crank pully not the other ones. This has been a hot potato on several forums over the years time and time again. I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my engine and I don't want to have to do it again for 2.8whp. lol Some people have gotten away with it, some have not. I don't doubt that you've been problem free for 5 yrs, but I'm curious as to what your bearings look like. lol My 92 Si is my daily, but i flog the **** out of it more than most so reliability is of utmost importance, after all, that's one of the reasons we're rockin Hondas
