Default Newbie question-Hydro or Cable tranny?

I am doing a GSR OBD I swap into my 92 civic dx hatch. I don't have the tranny yet so do I need to get a cable or hydro tranny? I also assume I will have to get a conversion kit from someone like Hasport. Is this true as well? Thanks.

The conversion kits are for cable cars to go to hydro trannies. Get the hydro.
