thanks
thanks
Q. Is your engine running rich or are you looking for parts to get it running?
1. You didn't supply any info on your Make/Model/Year of car, engine & EMS for anyone to help with your fuel problem. this information is very helpful.
2. I believe that the H23 Dizzy and starter will fit. Not sure about the wiring for them that all depends on what your setup is Make/Model/Year of car, engine & EMS.

I am in the middle of the f22b dohc swap also.. I have found that the parts from a 93 si prelude h23 fit most of the time.

the car is a 1992 accord ex i got for 600 bucks. and its running rich but also the starter doesn't seem to be working right. its in the shop right now and my mechanic said that intake manifold gasket is leaking. could that be the problem?
Leaking what. Air, Oil, Coolant?
No matter what is leaking from your intake manifold I don't see any of them causing your engine to run rich. If it's leaking in air I could see it making you run Lean maybe but not rich. What ECU and injectors are you using? and what makes you think your running rich, do you have any AFR (air to fuel ratio) readings to back up your claims?

its leaking air. not sure about what injectors are in. which injectors would you recommend? and i thinks the ecu is p14. my mechanic said that too much air is coming in through the bad gasket so the ecu is trying to compensate for the air with too much fuel.
If they are the injectors that came with the engine stick with them. Your first step is to replace the intake gasket. then go from there!
The ECU always tries to keep a 14.7:1 air : fuel ratio. An air leak before the combustion camber would usually result in a higher than normal idle RPM or surging idle. Yes, this would cause higher fuel consumption but not a rich condition. If the leak is after the combustion chamber in the exhaust manifold, down pipe or anywhere before the O2 sensor that could cause the ECU to think the engine is running lean and add more fuel causing a rich mixture.

i forgot to add that its idling at 2200 rpms with the throttle regulator thing close all the way and my buddy said that its running lean not rich. the mechanic told me that a new gasket should fix the problem. i got an h23 gasket will that work?
thanks
