exhaust question
i have a 95 dx hatch, exhaust system is stock. i found out that the exhaust is good but the pipes are beat up and i need to replace them. my friends told me might as well weld 2.5 inch pipe on it while im at it. my question is, what is that gonna do? should i do that?
sorry for the dumb question, im a newb at this. thanks in advance

If you're leaving the engine stock, 2" will be fine. If you're going to modify the engine (without turocharging/supercharging/nitrous-injection), use 2.25" piping. If you have a heavily modified atmo engine or one that is turobcharged/supercharged/sprayed, then you can consider piping that is 2.5" (or sometimes larger).
