h22a power problems (searched)
94 accord with h22a from 97 lude...if i got the car in neutral (mt) i can rev the **** out of it with no problems brininging it all the way to redline if i wanted to. but once i drop it in first i have a hard time getting it up to speed. the same is for every other gear.
i have never had this type of problem before i have no clue what it could be since it has power in neutral. i thought maybe the clutch but i dont see how that wouldnt let it have power, i could understand slippage but thats about it. i am not fimiliar with H series that could be my problem so someone with some know how, please hit me up i am a big DIY'er got the tools and spot to do work.
Thanks,
Steve

Has the power in neutral? You're not engaging a gear in neutral....
I'd start with trying to drain and refill the tranny fluid - if it doesn't help at all it's possible the tranny is just being retarded and may need replacing or a rebuild, how are the other gears?

every gear is sluggish to get up to speed...gotta floor it to get up to speed in every gear.
i know im not engaging a gear in neutral, just saying it revs normally in neutral no probably no fuel issues.

No CEL's right? and No other problems?
My personal opinion would be to change out the fluid and see if that helps at all. But if every gear is being lame then it's probably the tranny.
