b18a in ef problems
So i had the b18 in another hatch but wrecked it so I ripped it out and stuck it in a dx converted to multipoint and yes the wire was good it was running before I swaped the b18a into it well I got it going but it revs to 1200-1500 and blogs down I can rev to 8000 no problem but that damn thing its flashing #1 and 14 I believe but yeah um its starting to **** me off I checked all the hoses by spraying carb cleaner on them to c if they were leaking but they arent and I looked up #14 aqnd it says iac thats the thing on the back of the manifold with the 2 wire plug well if it is that how come every [freak]ing time I put in a new motor it needs a new one? could you please help me. also that 3 wire plug next to it when I disconnect it the reving stops and it goes down to 1000? if anyone knows whats up please help me out thanx l8r.
i never go above 5,500 unless there is money on the line. N I was just cing if it would bog down if I reved it but it didnt so its fine besides that [freak]ing idle drop idle drop which is at 1500. it almost sounds like a hella racing cam in a old school muscle car.
