Default thinking about going with some Lexan for my EG

Thinking about putting some lexan windows in my EG. this is a street car/weekend warrior.

Ive been curious would i be better off making my own or should i just buy a kit. i have heard that lexan can be tricky to form. Ive heard of FAL and its a hit or miss when it comes to people who like there stuff. is there any other options. Not to mention FAL prices seem a lil much for something that isnt even scratch resistance.

Now some of you maybe opposed to this option. i definately wanna save weight but i absolutely hate people looking in my windows checking out the inside of the car so i already have limo tint all the way around. can you tint Lexan?

TIA

yes lexan can be tinted , " tinter" just has to be careful/creative cutting out patterns , they usually trim on glass with a razor blade , cant do that ..
although I think nhra rules prohibit tint on lexan/windows .. so if building for you ,fine , if for rules, do some homework

Not building for competition just building for my own pleasure i might make an appearance at a few different tracks but mostly local track and for the street.
When mounting it your self do you need to make mounting tabs or does everyone just go through the stock windown frame? i plan on using counter sunk allen heads with some Nylon lock nuts since thats what everyone suggested in the old threads

gotta link to this percy's? do you have to rivet on the rear hatch glass as well? i planned on using 3m window weld since i installed a sunroof in my GF's car 3 years ago and its still leak free
