I'm looking into Lexan windows (weigh rougly 2 lbs a piece), and I was just curious as to how that compares to the weight of the stock window. If any of you guys could help, I would greatly appreciate it.

what are you plans for this project? unless your going full drag race i would not do it.. they are very weak and can be shattered easily.. ive seen a couple 10-12 sec cars at the track and they are not using lexan windows..

My plans for the car will be mostly strip, but street driven every once in a while. I know it's probably overkill, but it was just one of those things that I was thinking about because of the good price I found em for. I did not know that they are alot weaker, I guess with the less weight comes less strenght. Still... any idea what a stock window weighs? Thanks for the replys.

i was thinking of doing that too... whats the weight difference? because if it aint much, its just not worth it i guess....
