idle probelm

Default idle probelm

hey well i got sum idleing problems dont kno much about vaccum lines and sensors so a lil help please its a d16y8,obd0 to obd1 conversion and p28 ecu wen i turn it on it stays at 200 300 then dies but then i take out the map sensor it stays on fine at 1000 but i know it supose to have a mapsensor on there then its throwing a code 10 air temp sensor but dont know what that is and were it is if u can help thanks

what manifold are you running? if your using the d16y8,I'm 90% sure the intake air temp sensor is not mounted on the intake manifold, its located on the stock intake pipe, if your not using that manifold, the sensor is located on either #1 or #2 runner on the intake manifold, its a white sensor with two philip screws, good luck

you could put the sensor in the intake pipe, drill a hole add a rubber grommet, and try and mount it some how, or just plug it in and place it somewhere if worst comes to worst
