you need an LS intake manifold
the b20 one wont let you close the hood.

Depends which version of B20 you have. Some have the normal intake manifolds similar to the LS. The giraffe neck one won't fit.

im pretty sure that the b20z comes with the shorter one with that midrange power chamber or something. right? hmmm. anyone have a reason not to use the stock one? i hear it can hurt higher rpm power.

it should fit, here is another pic of the B20Z IM without the airchamber, its basically an LS IM with a hole on the top and an air chamber.

And heres a B20B IM and an LS IM for comparison.

and the B20Z IM with air chamber on.

What are the differences between the B16, LS, B18C, and ITR intake manifolds? I was wondering if you could put any other intake manifold on the B20. And if you so, are they any better than the LS intake manifold?

only the LS is a direct bolt on, I've seen GSR and ITR IM's but they were moded.

If you want a better IM get a Skunk2.
