Spring rates? Pics inside
Car-1987 Prelude Si
The problem I'm having is right now I have intrax 2" lowering springs and I calculated the rates to be 350 front and 250 rear, but the rear is so soft it tends to squat really bad
I just feel like this is slowing me down a little. What I was thinking of doing is buy a set of coilovers.
Setup:
KYB GR-2 (front)
Koni Red (rear)
Intrax 2" lowering spring
Koni front and rear sway bars
You guys have any suggestions for stiffening this car up?

Well I do have poly bushings sitting on my desk right now for the front, no one makes them for my car
But the problem must be the springs, when the car is sitting the back sits lower (and it looks really bad too)

my first suspension were GC coilovers and tokicos. the springrates were about the same as yours. i used a 22mm sway and tire pressure to make up for the spring rates. just a suggestion. as a note, its ok for autox not for road racing b/c the rear tire will fold over.

You can start to speed up by loosing the passenger (unless he is an instructor).
It looks like a good 250lb to be lost there.
how would you like you car to handle..... other than it appears to squat... what do you want to correct ?
