Default AK1 Motorsports Fail

so okay now for all you people how live in the I.E. check it. when to ak1 to slap a b20 vtec together they did it i took it home put it in, and took it back to get timing done. they said i needed a new timin belt tensioner. so i got it. they slapped it on then they started the car... the car started, but you hear hard core clinkin... five minutes later they said that i broke a value... the next day i talk to the manager Chris the tells me what happen and he tells me what i need to fix it. then i start trippin out cuz he's chargin me to fix it. saying it all my fault bla bla bla... so i write the burial and wait and wait and wait.... so my buddy give's me his motor (B16) and said... i he tells me just to have them do it. i would be easier... so i crack and say [freak] it... they change out the type r oil pump and they put the motor im my car, and this is where my problems start again, they [freak]ed up my radiator cap and my buddy has to go get it for me, (i'm in Frisco at work at this time) i get home, car's running i hear a weird clinkin again but not form the motor, everytime i shifted, so trippin out i check out my suspension everything's on good, keep looking. cant figure it out... my buddy's dad checks it out. drives it. and pop's the hood my timing belt mount there's two bults missin, the nut that go's throw the mount is gone the rear mount its coming out, there's a dent form the motor on my hood. i keep checkin my oil is under the low mark. the drivers suspension is covered in oil and wheel well is drenched. GOT TO LOVE IT. well if your smart i suggest you guys don't get any motor work done through them. if you want your car to run...

JUST LETTIN YOU KNOW

Split your sentences appart when its long. That was hard to read. But if they screwed you the first time you shouldnt have gone back for a second. You could report them to the BBB.

Well the car came in with a spun bearing i believe, due to the lack of oil. The owner Coolero decided to replace the block with a b20. We built the b20 vtec with all of the parts supplied by him except for the motor mounts and evolution b20 vtec conversion kit. There was a problem with the timing belt and we told him that we would fix it but it wasn't under warranty because he supplied all of the parts. We also said not to drive it because of the chance of dropping a valve. He drove it back and forth to the shop then when we replace the timing belt and tensioner, lo and behold a valve dropped. As far as the loose bolts and leaking oil I don't know why you are having these problems but like i said on the phone go ahead and bring it by so we can check it out.

For being a shop you should have never let him leave with a bad timing belt. On top of that i would hope since he did leave you had him sign a wavier of some sort stating the problem and saying theres no warrenty on it because of it.

I love it when I see shop mechanics get schooled on Honda-tech.

That wasnt meant to school anyone, that was personal experience that im trying to pass on. I had something like this happen where i let the customer control the outcome of the car and he tried to hold me responsible to it. Turned into a big nasty thing. Hate to see others go through that.

That's exactly what is going on, i called Coolero and he had a conversation with the boss. I don't know what was said but he no longer seemed angry.
