Sorry to say this, but the police are not going to help you to much. Don't do anything that will get you in trouble with the law. No car is worth going to jail for.

Damn sorry about the car, like everyone else is saying. The cops wont help you after the car is recovered. And my friend got his car stolen in Brockton, MA when we he was up there for UTI. Cops didn't do much except get a call from a junkyard saying they found a GSR stripped in the main road.
