If it's a dx coupe, should expect 14.2-14.6. If your driving is not the greatest expect high 14's low 15's

14.2-14.6 out of a B16A even in a DX coupe is not the norm, you think?

I have persoanlly ran a 14.6 with an all bolt-on B18C1 swap in my 1992 Si hatchback, and there are 4 other guys here locally - all good friends - that have ran 14.6 in their VX and DX hatches with B18C1 swaps.

The B18C1 swaps are stronger than the B16A swaps - I've had both in identical cars and this is not just something I'm making up - so I do know the difference.

I'd say that the 14.8-15.2 is more realistic especially depending on the trim - DX or EX.

Well i had a 93 si hatchback with the following mods- hot air intake,lightened flywheel, open exhaust, minus back seats. My car with this setup ran consistent 14.3-14.6@96-97 mph. Not that hard to believe. I know guys with b16's in vx's with i/h/e and raped interiors that run high 13's.

So many disbelievers, dont underestimate the almighty b16a.

Gsr civics should be running low,low,low 14's, if not something wrong.

Hey Spoontang, did you not read that I also OWN a B16A-powered hybrid as well as the B18C5 hybrid?

I'll tell you what - here in GEORGIA I have never seen B16A EX coupes break 14's with a properly-running B16A swap. My friend from which I bought the B16A2 swap had it all in a 1995 EX coupe and it ran 15.1-15.2 ALL DAY at the local dragstrip.

I do not "doubt" or talk out of my *** when it comes to these hypothetical 1/4 mile times - I speak from personal experiences and nothing more than that.

I'm also a realist, but I also realize that there are exceptions to every rule, so if you and others have broken mid-low 14's then I will not doubt it. Where are you located by the way?

We are using Jdm gen 2 b16a's, personally i dont know anybody using the usdm b16a since they are usualy more expensive and very rare.

B18c5-eh2 to answer your question i'm from Toronto, and believe me our not thats entirely up to you. But i'm not talking smack!!!!!!!!

I also am talking threw experience, i've owned many hybrids too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With my B18C in a '92 hatch, I ran a 14.160 at 100.55 MPH. That's without the back seats or spare. Stock header, and a piece of s..t exhaust for $50. If I dropped the exhaust, I'd get 13.9 guaranteed.
