Any one use restore lube?
I have a friend that swears by it. His 1994 DSM Eclipse GSX Turbo has 260K miles and still going strong. He uses it every oil change (4-5k interval) he recently started using the 6cyl size though (I don't know why). I use it too on my Prelude, but only when I can afford the extra $7 for it. I have 112K miles.
You do mean this stuff, right?

a guy in one of my auto classes asked this same question and the teacher told us it's BS. all it does is makes the oil thicker, which would reduce oil burning. it's not gonna fix anything but i guess it would help if ur burning a little bit of oil. i would just save my money and use a little thicker oil.

Lucas stuff makes the oil foam, lowering its protection against wear because you can't build up much pressure from foam.

Like someone above you said, it makes the oil thicker. This stuff actually does work, along with almost every other "No smoke" product. Of course it wont stop smoking due to too much fuel or a major oil leak, but if youre just burning a little bit and your compression numbers are a little low, this stuff will fix it.
I probably wouldnt put it in a healthy engine though, especially in the winter time, as oil thats thicker than normal doesnt lubricate as well. If you dont need it, dont use it, but it probably will make your dying engine last a little bit longer.

It's not doing what it says it does by filling in scratches in the cylinder walls. Lets face it nothing would bond to anything being oil soaked, it does just make the oil thicker, why not just do your oil change with 4 quarts of straight 30
