Putting a gsr swap into my ek, The engine didnt have the bracket, so i went to a local shop and purchased the bracket that they said would work, but my friend is telling me that he thinks its just the integra bracket, is there any way to tell the difference? I dont want to do the swap and realize that this isnt the right one.

 

are you talking about the "post mount" The iron piece that bolts to the engine and bolts to the mount? The SI one is going to be a 2 bolt when the ls is going to be a 3 bolt pattern. Completly different mount needed for it. I went through a similar issue. Its a pain to get one.

 

you will need the SI block mount that bolts up to the driver side of the motor through the timing cover. your stock bracket will bolt onto that. stock tranny mount, and SI rear T bracket. you can use the integra stabilizer mounts up front as well.
