Default Cluster lighting

i recently installed a car alarm a hornet 564t, and after the gauges dont light up at night. When i activate the remote start the gauges will light up with the running lights, but once i switch everything on for night driving theres no light. Ive checked the fuses and connections, and ive even bypassed the power over some dash lighting in an attempt to jump the problem.

Would it be smart to wire the cluster lighting power to the ignition so when ever the car is on the lighting is on? whats the life of cluster bulbs?

Any help is appreciated.
*****now i realized my cluster lighting doesnt light up at all... ******

Check all your grounding points and fuses, and make sure that the people that installed your alarm didnt fry some wires (mmmmm fries)

I am the people that installed it, and when i first installed it i hit the red/black parking wire instead of the red/silver wire. That made my gauges light instead of my parking lights. then i fixed and then gauges did nothing.
I recently tested evrything, and i have power to the bulb sockets and all wires. I tested bulb on a battery and it lights up. It doesnt light up big, just glows slightly, but thats what i exepected from a battery. ???Shouldnt this be working in my cluster right now???

Also i have tach, alarm, and other gauges wired into the parking light wire.

I am sooo flippin confused that i just might sell my honda....just kidding.

this may sound dumb but make sure your dimmer isn't turned down. if it isn't then check the switch and make sure its plugged in and the red/black has good connection into the plug. test it for power at the switch. if everything is good then it could be the switch is bad. i just had the same issue.
