Default Auto Meter Boost/Vac Gauge reading Incorectly

Forgive me guys if this post is in the wrong forum, but i am in the process of installing some gauges in my car and my autometer ultra light series mechanical boost vac gauge is calibrated incorrectly. When the car is off or the gauge is unplugged it reads around 7lbs of boost. When running in idle it reads about 3hg. when normal throttle which im assuming it should read zero, it is around 5-7 again, and during full boost it reads 17 instead of around 9-10. Im assuming this means that the gauge is calibrated incorrectly from the factory. Im not sure if it read this way when i purchased it, or if i f**ked it up. My question is, is there any way for me to manually calibrate the gauge or if it is ****, and i should buy a new one. Any input is appreciated. Thanks guys.
