Hi everybody. Im boosting my built 01 Type R and need to buy injectors, there are 2 types of injectors for sale ,"saturated" and "peak and hold". Can someone please explain the following to me (im fairly mechanical and understand engine dynamics well)

1) Which type do i have stock on my engine currently ?
2) What is the difference between the 2 types (details please) ?
3) Which type do i need to run ?

pretty much anything you need to know. scroll down about half way for impedance discussion.

stock injectors are saturated aka high impedance. you can find these in up to 750cc sizes. low impedance aka peak and hold will need a resistor box and have sizes up to 1600cc.

also you will have to mod your clips since your obd2

 

ok, ill check that out....ive done an obd2 - obd1 conversion so my clips should be okay....thanks. Keep any info coming guys.

 

Ok, i read that page and it deffinetly helped alot. So is it up to the individual to decide which type they want to run ? What kind of injectors are u guys using and for what kind of setup ?
