Ok i am stumped here . When the weather is warm my speedometer works perfectly fine but when the weather is cold it acts up . I have changed the VSS . Anybody know anything because i am going nuts .

 

Its the cluster, it probably needs to be rebuilt.

I had it done at a shop, but I think what they do is relube the needle and the moving parts, not sure though, perhaps someone can post their more intelligent answer.

 

Go to a junkyard and get a VSS. Takes 10 mins to replace and isn't expensive. Thats probably your problem.

 

I have changed VSS already and it still happens , iam just going to put a cluster from an ex in so i will have a tach
