b18c or k20a
Ok,heres my problem. I plan on swaping for a motor but im not sure on what i should do. I wanted a k20 but i realize its alot of money for it,and a b18c is about right. if i go with a k20 its going to be worth more than the car, while a b18c is about the same. WHAT WOULD U DO ? k20 or b18 tell me the pros and cons plz.

IMO I would go with the b18c. As you said before its more friendly on the wallet. I don't know why but i've always been a fan of the b18c its such a B.A motor. Nothing like a solid b-series type r.
With the K20 your looking to be into that project anywhere from 7-9 grand... Yeah, your going to have a sick hatch but in the end is the lack of traction and a 10000 dollar hatch worth it? Basically the B is a solid engine with solid reliability and solid power for a much less fully done swap price from 4-5 grand... Good luck with your swap bud.
i went from a d series to a b18c in my ek...after about 2 years of drivin the b18c, i got bored and now im going K...yes its burning a hole in my pockets but once im done, watch out v8
is the b18c a GSR or a Type R?? and is the k20 from a jdm integra (dc5)or a civic (ep3) or an RSX?? which one do you wanna get?? it all depends but B- series motor swaps are easier, less headaches, and cheaper!! so its pretty much how much money you got, n what you like.... i would rather do a b series swap cuz the K series are more expensive for not that much more power than a B18 Type R....

you're stupid, go play in traffic.
op: if you got money to throw away, go with the k20, other than that, b18 is so much more cost efficient.

I'm pretty sure you can figure out the pros and cons of each by yourself. You just stated a couple. Do what you want. Quit wasting people's time with these worthless threads that you can find by moving your mouse 2cm up to the search button where you can click and find all the info you want on either of these motors. Bam, problem solved.
