Default Squeaking Noise?!

So whenever I release the clutch (with the car on) and get ready to go i hear a belt squeaking noise?! i can only hear the squeaking when the motor starts to struggle to go forward.. but when i start going i don thear it any more? meaning i only hear it when i start to release the clutch when it catches it makes that squeaking noise.

I'm having the same problem, and I can't seem to figure it out. I tried explaining it to one of my friends but mine sounds almost like a slight metal to metal grinding squeak, like break pads on the metal touching the rotor. but hey if anyone has any answers, i'd like to know too.

I usually have the same problem, Then the motor is not warmed up... but, I can't tell you exactly what it is.. is the noise constant... Through out the whole day?

like i said it only happens when im starting to go when the motor isnt given to much throttle while releasing the clutch.. therefore creating the motor to struggle a lil bit more.. immean i cant hear it in the cabin or anything but when im in like a drive through like mcdonalds for example i can hear it because im next to a wall and the sound doesnt travel too far..

I had this problem, and after hours of tearing my car apart, I found where the actual noise was coming from. The bushing the clutch pedal pivots on was where the squeaking was coming from. I crawled on the floor of the car and added some lube to it, pushed it in and out with my hand, and added a little more lube. Then no more squeaking noise.

same noise here... its under the car near the trans. i think it has some
thing to do with the mounts because its only once you put a little stress on the clutch

yeah it sounds like it it is out side the car, but really it is under the dash, just crawl on the floor of your car, and look to see where the clutch pivots. There is a rubber bushing there. That is the part making the sound. Mine always squeaked when the clutch was released about half way.

my sistuation is when the clutch is nearly engaged with the flywheel and SLIGHTLY it starts to make a metal grinding noise like brakes going metal2metal.

im hav ing a hard time believing thats its just the pivot at the pedal, especially since OP says he's getting some xtruggling with the motor? cluth fluid perhaps? coudl explain the metal on metal noise. I hate dealers, I have a harmonic/osciallating sound from my matrix crusing 70-110k/h told the dealerships sais they cant do anythgn about it. [freak] them

I've gone in twice for that reason and they've replaced the gasket both times.

OK so i went on friday and found out what the noise is coming from... its from the exhaust system moving around from all the places it could of been. The little rubber peice that holds the hanger on is moving around and i think they replaced a gasket also where the cat is connected and sprayed some high temp bullshit... squeaking stopped for now. im sure it'll come back again.

If your going to go try just move the peice where the header meet cat and it will make the sound.
