it might be the assembly that the peddle attaches to on the firewall... sometimes it squeaks on my car.. only did it once though...

so that means the master cyl. is busted?
Mine does that too only when i let it out and it hits the ingage part (about halfway out) w/o giving it gas.

not busted BUT an issue for the stealership.

they arent gonna fix it on the spot
they will assess the problem, order the parts and resched you.

well this is what the problem is. At least in my case.
Theres a gasket at the pipe that goes to the manifold joint that came off and with engine movement it makes a sqeaking noise.
They removed the gasket lubed it with some grease and its good to go. No more squeak.
Got my car back in about 3 hrs.

it made the noise everytime i let the clutch out and barley gave gas. I'm pretty sure the noise was there when i gave more gas but the engine covered it up

my SI makes a squeeking sound too when you release the clutch from stop going to 1st gear. i mentioned it twice to the stealership but they kept denying any noise. for those of you who did not bring to the stealership, what did you try to elminate the squeeking noise?

Mine had some bad squeaking but I can tell it was from INSIDE the cabin. I just hit up the assembly with wd-40 and its been away since.
