Another SRS Question...Please Help
OK, my girlfriends Accord has a lit SRS light. Me, being the honda head that I am, decided I can fix it with the help of fellow H-Ters.
I have searched a lot and learned about the MES connector that needs to be jumped and what-not to turn off the srs light. My question is, Which 2-pin connector is it? I have searched a lot and it probably confused me more because of the people with different years saying it is one thing and another person saying it is another. What color? Is it connected to anything ? Any pictures of a 2001 accord MES?
Any help is appreciated.

Did you pull the SRS code to see what it was complaining about?
Anyway, according to http://autorepair.about.com/li...g.htm , you will need a special connector (they suggest not using a jumper wire...) I think the reason is because you have to jump, unjump, jump, and unjump quickly. You might jump the wrong wires when you're trying to jump it again within 4 seconds.

describes a way to create one yourself
And according to that second site, you can only clear the code if the problem has been fixed. If you still have an issue, it'll probably just go back on
