Prelude noob help
I'm about to graduate high school, and I enter the real world with a '99 Prelude. I don't know too much about the vehicle, exept that it has a manual transmission and the smaller of the two stock engines. I have an incredibly small budget and was just hoping for some pointers on where to start out for some power. I was thinking a short ram intake, but I've seen posts that say they actually drop your power. Should I start somewhere else? I'll take any tips at all.
All 5th gen prelude's have the same engine*
If you're on a really tight budget, you should prob. not worry about power mods as the H22's are factory tuned pretty well and won't really respond so much to bolt ons like Intake, headers or exhaust, and the one's that add a few hp tend to be expensive.
Personally, if it were me I would focus on suspension as it can make the car more fun to drive in terms of handling and cornering ability.

Yeah, 97-01 Preludes all have the same engine.
Start with maintenance and learning about the car. Bolt-ons can help you learn how to do stuff, but won't add much power. Suspension stuff is the most fun per $$$ for sure.
