Need Help with idle diagnosis

Default Need Help with idle diagnosis

Ok i drive a h22 eg and ill drive along and when i push in the clutch gettin ready to slow down it idles b/t 1500-2000 rpms until i come to a complete stop then it goes down to 900-1000 rpms. when i cruise with the clutch in while idling at 15 or 2 i put my foot behind the throttle and pull is towards me it drops to 900-1000 rpms.........sticking throttle?????
it only does it when the car is war

its not that big of deal but its really aggravating

Check the throttle cable adjustment. It might be too tight.

Also check for loose vacuum lines. pop the hood and listen for a slight hiss while the engine is running.

checked the throttle cable and that wasnt it. it kept doing it no matter were i adjusted it

As you originally suggested, the throttle may be sticking. Try cleaning with carburetor cleaner. Alternatively, the throttle cable may be sticking. Not sure if it can be cleaned - might need to replace if bad.
