boy, that rad is leaning far back, why not just lower it so it gets more air through the front of it from the bumper, that way it could sit closer to the front of the car as well and probably give you more room for a dp.

Have you considered taking away some of the air that's cooling the manifold/turbo setup by extending the shroud towards the driver's side?

would you be against cutting up the front bumper to catch some air that isnt going through the hot intercooler? any kind of added ducting that isnt going through another heated source will be helpful.

the wrapping idea is a great one. wrap the mani and the downpipe past the oil pan, and i would even look into getting heat shielding type material to cover that shroud as well (sorry i dont know what its called, but i know its out there). as far as the idea of extending it towards the driver side at an angle, its good but i dont think you have the room for it. and a few desperate measures could be to add an oil cooler (sounds silly bet it will bring engine temps down), and an electric water pump. i know from experience that electric water pumps do wonders for cooling systems, my car would run at about 1/4 temp on the factory gauge with a half rad. and wouldnt move off the C with a full rad.

Switch to other brand of coolant.
A friend of mine had problems for while, don't know what coolant he used, but he switched to another brand abd temps went down 15-20 degrees.
He wasn't really overheating, but it was at like 215 degrees avg and now 190-195

make the shroud go over to the other side so it can grab more air when moving..

i made my shroud go from the side of the rad all the way over to the other headlight and it helped a shitload!

p.s. i had a horrible overheating problem, and it was my water pump. the water pump had formed little rust bubbles on the impeller and was causing it to cavitate at higher rpms. taught me to run a bit of coolant in my system now :x
