oil pressure help

Default oil pressure help

i have one other problem again i have a 92 civic lx 1.5 the problem im having is the oil light keeps blinking whenever i drive and stop at like a redlight or let it it idle after i been driving i changed the oil pressure sensor and whenever i drive it stays off it just starts blinking whenever i stop i just changed the oil and oil pressure sensor so i dont know what could be the problem any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Do you have oil? If so then your oil pump could be going out.

i have oil i dont have any kind of oil lose its just when ever the car has been drivin for like 20 or 30 minutes and i stop at a light the oil light flickers but whenever i give it gas it turn off i dont know what the problem is

I assume the wire is connected because sometimes if the wire is just hanging it will cause the light to flicker as it touches metal and shorts out..I also assume you have the right amount of oil.

Check the wire to make sure its hooked up.

Also make sure u got oil.

If it still does it replace the sensor, after that its a new oil pump.

thanks the plug is connected and i have the right amount of oil guess its the pump how long before it will give out on me? and is it hard to do myself?

Replace the sensor before the pump.
