Default Need opinions on aftermarket adjustible camgears.

Which ones give you the most horsepower? Just kidding.

I need opinions on which cam gears to purchase for my B-series and
you know how everyone has their story '' cam broke when I was tightening it'' or
'' key hole deformed '' or '' '' hex bolt stripped''.

Quality, fit and finish.

Who has played with their cam gears enough to know the [i]most [i]''trouble free''
gear out there on the market?

im using a set of crower cam geas. they have been on the engine for 5 or 6 years now no issues with slipping or stripping the bolt out. they acutally use bolts instead of gay allen keys.

No problems with my Golden Eagle gears, going on 3 years now. Nice quality, look good, easy to read scale.

GE or STR gears have a much easier to read scale. I like my GE's much better than my Skunk2 gears because of that.

It could be, I just saw a set of the STR's in a local shop and they have the same type of scale as the GE's. It's much easier for me to use that type of scale on the dyno than it is to use the tiny little marks on the Skunk2 and other gears. But I am old and my eyes are bad, so maybe others are fine with them.

I use Full-Race Gears, besides the Allen Screws rusting out in a weeks time I have no complaints, they work well and look good.
