Default need help 2003 Honda Civic Si Ecu Location

Okay im looking to buy a K20a3 engine i think it is out of a 2003 Honda Civic Si... anyone know where the ecu is located... anthing i should watch out for when i pull this engine... im just looking to pull, ecu, suspension, engine, trans, wireharness and shiftlinkage and then just turn around and sell it... what is the going price on this swap too so i can put up a good starting price...

ecu is generally behind the glove box, near all the HVAC stuff. one big harness will go through the firewall and lead you straight to the ecu. gank the rear disc brake setup too. k20a3 isn't really a high demand motor, but a full swap might still bring in a G or two.

With all that and full brake setup (MC, prop valve, etc) you might be able to pull $2k.

yeah right now im being told only 800 to 1,000 dollars for it on my other forum that is local for me... ive been offered a gsr swap and some cash trade... i dont know... i think i rather just keep my cash in my pocket and not deal with it... im buying it for 1,300 and im looking to make a little money so i can dump it in my b18 91 hatch..

You're exactly right. There is only a little money to be made and you would probably be better off going to work a few more hours.

i work plenty hours... i guess just trying to make a quick buck help people out if they were looking for this swap... kinda deal... yeah im not getting very good offers on this on my local forum... so im just going to say screw it..

I didn't mean to offend you. I'm saying you'd make more working the hours at your job then pulling the engine/suspension and looking for a buyer. Opportunity costs...

no you didnt... ha... its cool... i just understood you by putting in them terms by trying to make a quick buck off of it... but with the car all i have to do is pull the wireharness and the junk yard is pulling the rest of the stuff...
