S2000 oil consumption....
I think I have a problem with that.....last week just got my s2 for oil change.....and there are only like 2L oil left in the engine.......I checked it there is no leak anywhere....so is there any possible way losing so much oil?plz help....
You need to check the oil at every fill up. During the first 10,000miles the F20C will used 1-2qts per thousand miles. This is basically the breakin period. In other words you must watch the oil level closely. After 10k or so, the oil consumption slows considerably. The owners manual documents this and specifically warns that 1qt or more will be used per thousand miles.
If you were down to 2qts you may have or came dangerously close to damaging your engine. Watch your oil level!

Sorry about the size, but this will help you.

thats impressive... it kinda makes you wonder about people who think they are doing good and put synthetic after 3k miles and change their oil every 2k w/ synthetic. If i had an s2k i would baby it for 7500k miles then change the oil then change it again at 10k again at 12500 and again at 15000 then switch to synthetic.

In FL I was told by the Honda dealer that I should change the oil @ 3,500 miles at which time I could use synthetic oil !! What gives here? Should I continue to use petrol based oil until 7,500 miles or not? Please advise. My owners manual says synthetic oil is Ok if it meets the specifications indicated. ?????

The document from honda says not to add synthetic before 7,500 miles. God for bid if something ever went wrong, they don't have to warranty it. Be careful.
