Gday guys.
Been doing a d16z6 build for a while now, Getting to the point where i know i should do something to the factory box. Wondering if anyone can give me any pointers into where i can purchase a D16 tranny (suit sohc z6) that is reconditioned possibly to OEM spec or internal parts upgraded to handell more power eg syncros, bearins etc. ALso would like Strait cut gears, Only 1st/2nd/3rd and Lsd (obx 1.5way helical). Will need to take around 400 - 500 whp, racing on slicks etc etc (a bit of punishment)
Any advice people could give me would be great, especially on who could do the job for me?

I can tell you the tranny will not hold that kind of power.
400 is ok 500 on way.
check out the thread in the drag racing forum by Mike.
My son rota92 and I had a D2B kit made for us last year. There is one other kit that was different then ours. It belongs to Sean Maxwell out of Canada. He has the other 9 second D16.
He also posted in the thread.
