alternative to brake cleaner?

Default alternative to brake cleaner?

i find brake cleaner so useful and i run through cans too often. are there any cheap spray cleaner alternatives that can clean and dry fast?

No, just wait till the parts stores have their 2 for 1 sale and stock up!
I use it for many things also. It makes a great pre-paint degreaser and electrical
cleaner.

electrical cleaner you say? i thought it says on the bottle to keep away from electrical stuff like batteries and such.

Never, ever, clean electrical parts with the power applied or connected. Disconnect battery, clean to your hearts content, reconnect battery.

oh gotcha. makes sense!

kragens had the CRC brake cleaners for $2 each on the weekend but went back up yesterday

go buy yourself a 55gal drum and a refilllable spray bottle, tahts what we used to have at the shop,

haha, i was kind of kidding with you. a drum is one of those big *** barrels, probably goes for a few hundred bucks a barrel, and willl also probably last you a lifetime. its basically just a big barrel of unpresurized brake cleaner.

as far as the spray bottle, what we used to do is fill it with the brake cleaner, then u just pressurize the bottle and it sprays.
