Default Mr.Gasket Turbo/Manny

I can't seem to find a gasket for my turbo...can I use the Mr.Gasket sheets that are used to make custom header/collector gaskets? Will they withstand the heat? Or does someone know for sure what car uses this type of plate...it's not Ford or Saab...

Note: It is a T3 sized flange, but it has that weird circular indentation. You can also notice that the gasket tapers inward on the sides between the bolts and that it doesn't appear to cover the area inside the circle...

Well I have not used it but I am certin it will work.

The copper can stand up to a lot of heat. If it's good for manifold/head gasket's it's definetly good for turbo/to mani.

I am just using a plane old steel gasket inbetween my Turbo/mani. Never had a problem. That's with 8 month's of daily driving. The copper should be able to handle higher heat then the steel.

well, there should be a pic up at the top...try cutting and pasting the link; geocities is stupid. That's the kind of gasket that I saw for a Ford and a Saab!!! But although the bolt pattern is the same, and the center cut-out is the same, my turbo has a weird flange with a circular region around it...

alright, this should work...

http://www.imagestation.com/mypictur...&caption=turbo

see, it has indented circle and the old gasket wasn't even a rectangle on the outside, you can see that it went in on the sides of the bolts, though that doesn't really matter. I am just gonna use the Mr.Gasket stuff (already bought) but I now noticed that the indented circle is just a hair larger than the plate on my manny, so I'll have to get some **** welded on to make it a little bigger...though, it might work how it is

so, getting a bead welded onto the manny and having it ground down and making my gasket out of that stuff seems like it should work fine? good to hear.
